The program is still in place and has become quite popular. (They keep running out of bags at the county annex!)

Here's the info on what you can recycle and where to pick up the bags -

I attended Kat and Chandra's Introduction to Permaculture class in Panama City (Thanks to Alice Guay for coordinating). I found the class to be very informative and inspirational. Thanks, Kat and Chandra, for an excellent class.

Jo

p.s. - Alice is right - the Mint tea was TO DIE FOR!

October 2008

Kat Provencher and Chandra Hartman conducted a terrifically informative and empowering Introduction to Permaculture class for 15 of us earlier this month. We left our class full of ideas, new information, and most importantly, excitement! Many of us are already incorporating what we learned into our daily lives!

I highly recommend Kat and Chandra's Intro class, and will definitely take any other permaculture courses they offer in the future!

Alice Guay

PS: The food and tea we shared was great, too!

Ann,

Your timing is perfect. This Saturday, Oct. 4 from 8am-1pm at the South Walton Mosquito Control on 393, is Haz-Mat Day. They will be accepting hazardous materials including paints, tires, batteries, and computers. They have a whole list of items they will accept. They have this once a year, usually the first week in October.

Thanks
