I would love to attend any of the Blue Recycle Bag meetings. I have written news articles, numerous letters to grocery stores and developments requesting their involvment, and had no idea the county was thinking of creating blue bags (which I’m very excited over). In addition, I have gotten all of Butler Elementary recycling both at school and at home. St. Rita’s and The Roane School have both asked me to speak with their students about recycling and the Blue Bag Program. If there is anything I can do, please let me know.
Thank you,
Christina Scally
Christina,
Thanks for your enthusiasm and that’s great about your accomplishments with Butler. Arix Zalace would be the contact person on this. His e-mail is azalace@earthlink.net. I’m sure he’d like to hear from you and you can put your heads together on ways to further this venture. Thanks for reading.
I would like to learn more about your organization.
I just came across your website and would like to learn more about your organization. Has the next meeting been scheduled? Thanks!
Is there a way to dispose of e-waste in So. Walton other than putting it in the regular trash?
Ann,
Your timing is perfect. This Saturday, Oct. 4 from 8am-1pm at the South Walton Mosquito Control on 393, is Haz-Mat Day. They will be accepting hazardous materials including paints, tires, batteries, and computers. They have a whole list of items they will accept. They have this once a year, usually the first week in October.
Thanks
